Welcome to America - "the Land of Service Jobs" Over generations, the economy has become ever more driven by services; not since 1975 has the U.S. had a surplus in merchandise trade, which covers trade in goods, including manufactured and farm goods. Quote - When Everything seems to be going against you, Remember a plane takes off against the wind. - Henry Ford Sixtyish A sixtyish woman whose husband was overly attentive to the young ladies at a party explained to a neighbor: "He's like a puppy running after cars. He doesn't want to catch one - he just wants to bark at them a little."

Cleveland Browns - The Browns have requested $5.8 million in repairs for the $12 year old stadium from the city of Cleveland. The stadium costs the taxpayers $290 million in sin tax already. The stadium opened September 12, 1999, The FANS have requested a Winning Season from the Browns! Millions for payroll, but can't fix a taxpayer built stadium ?When it comes to dirty air... which is worse? The Cuyahoga County fiasco or the Cleveland Incinerator at a price of over $186 million? http://blog.cleveland.com/metro/2012/01/cleveland_air_officials_says_p.html* ODOT announces the delay of the second I-90 Innerbelt, of 11 years. No surprise that ODOT gives Cleveland a bridge to nowhere. ** Pleas Note: Canal Street Bridge - closed for electrical repairs; West 3rd Street Lift Bridge Closed - for 5 months, more than $1 million in repairs needed. Frustration stems from the fact that the bridge underwent a $20 million-plus renovation less than five years ago. Since 2007, the bridge has closed 33 times for issues other than maintenance, the city will probably have to delay other bridge-repair projects to pay for the bridge fix. The bridge renovation has been a money pit. Originally estimated at $16 million, the reconstruction eventually hit $28.57 million. ODOT covered 80 percent of the cost and the city 20 percent. Like everything else in OH, ODOT is a joke! I would not let them oversee the construction of a dog house! Cleveland Innerbelt Updates: www.innerbelt.org
